Between January 1st and April 20th, 2025, Tunisia welcomed 2.3 million visitors, reflecting
an 8.8% increase compared to the same period last year. Tourism revenues reached nearly
1.6 billion TND, according to official statistics.
With these encouraging figures, the National Tourist Office has set an ambitious goal: 11
million visitors by the end of 2025. This target is backed by a strategy focused on
diversification of offerings, higher service standards, digital transformation, sustainability,
domestic tourism promotion, and enhanced training across the sector.
More than 1,500 quality control operations have already been conducted this year —
covering hotels, agencies, and restaurants — demonstrating a strong commitment to
meeting international standards.
